Hello everyone, I also have a problem with my WiFi PCMCIA card.
Here are some details: Laptop: IBM ThinkPad T23 model 2647 (4MG) WiFi card: ZyXEL G-162 802.11g (chipset TNET1130) Ubuntu version: 8.10 (kernel 2.6.27-7.16) The problem is that when I plug in my WiFi card, my computer does not recognize it then freezes completely, I am therefore obliged to restart leaving the power button pressed. Looking into the log files, I discovered that the following command by the operating system made mistakes (see attached file messages): "iwconfig txpower XXX" Hoping you have provided all the necessary information I thank you for your help.
