After a while of testing freebob SVN, the XRUNs occur pretty much as frequently as with the ubuntu package. I've downgraded to the hardy packages of libfreebob (1.0.7-1) and the problem does *not* seem to be present here. I'll report later if I experience any XRUNs at all with this version.
