Sorry. I should have reported that I solved the problem with the help of the developer, Ingo Klocker. Turned out that the expiration feature was triggering a crash in a folder which had a corrupted index. I turned off all expirations. Then I went into each of the folders and re-enabled it. When I reached the folder with the corrupted index. the program crashed with the same error. Deleting the index for that folder solved the problem. Thank you for taking my problem seriously.
