Hey James, Yeah unfortunately the bug is with boost and there is no way to fix it unless the move is made to 1.36. This is why I was wondering if there was a way forward with this at all?
If not, understandable, given the odd set of circumstances. I don't mind providing AMD64 debs on the gizmod homepage until the next Ubuntu release comes out. That being said, I can't help but wonder if this isn't affecting any other packages too? Any Ibex packages that use boost.python must be broken on AMD64. Does anyone know of any other packages using boost.python, and if so what are they doing to get around this? Thanks, Tim. -- gizmod in Ibex fails to run on amd64 systems due to bug in boost-1.34.1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/293082 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
