Magnus, thanks for your reply. Please be aware that I will be here only for another 15 days, so if you need some more debug info (I don't know if there are tools to read raw packets even without being associated to an AP, for example) we both will want to be quick :)
I am attaching the information required, except for the log which is completely uninformative: I have no means to attempt to associate as the network is not listed at all. The network is called "NETGEAR" and _sometimes_ I can see an alternate network called "C.D.NETGEAR" which is protected. Don't know if it's a bug or a truly different network but I never see it in windows. Also there is nothing in the logs when scanning. ** Attachment added: "iwlist_scanning" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/19519438/iwlist_scanning -- cannot see a netgear access point running a non-password-protected network https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/288627 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
