Hi, this bug is a few months old by now, lets give it a hug. Are you still using 8.04? Are you still experiencing these problems?
If you are still using 8.04, could you please post the output from the following commands? * lshw -C network * uname -a Next step: In a terminal type "tail -f /var/log/syslog >> tail-of-syslog" and hit enter. Now unplug that router cable and watch ubuntu crash. When you return to the desktop you'll hopefully find a file called "tail-of-syslog" in your home directory, please attach that file. Also attach your complete syslog (/var/log/syslog) after this crash has occurred. //magnus ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Incomplete -- ubuntu hangs on wifi router powerout https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/244197 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
