I believe I'm suffering from the same bug. I have an HP Pavillion dv1000 laptop with Intel 855GM integrated graphics. When having desktop effects turned on, and watching a movie in totem, moving the window or putting another window on top of it causes the window to become black even after the other window is moved away. Disabling desktop effects solved the problem.
