Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

In the Places sidepane, there's a symbol next to the CD cdrive. To me
it looks like an eject symbol. But when there is no disc in the drive
and I click the symbol, I get the following message: "Unable to mount
media. There is probably no media in the drive." This message suggests
that it was trying to mount a CD. This is not what I expect when I
click an eject symbol. I expect it to open the disc tray or maybe just
to tell me that there's no disc inside.
