After trying a few more cases it looks like this case happens when I follow a symlink into the other filesystem. In that case gvfs-ls does not show the file.
1. symlink from your home directory into another filesystem 2. use "dd if=/dev/zero of=zero bs=1M count=1024" to create a file there 3. follow that symlink in nautilus 4. delete the file in nautilus 5. it's now in a .Trash-1000 folder, but the trash icon is empty and gvfs-ls trash: doesn't show it -- deleting files in nautilus does not delete the files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/295009 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
