Binary package hint: dansguardian
Dansguardian shipped with Hardy Heron 8.10 LTS Server edition has option to use
clamdscan in the configuration file.
However when enabled, the server process dies.
It works fine when clamav is chosen as the virus scanner, however it brings the
server to it's knees at peak user times. Load average rockets to around 30 on
our 4 processor Intel Xeon 2.66 GHz, 6 GB memeory machine.
Clamdscan significantly reduces scanning resources ( about 4 0r 5 fold
improvement in simple tests with scanning a plain file)
Can we get the clamdscan option working in dansguardian please.
