David, I have created a boot script that runs the following at boot time automatically:
echo "0" > /sys/devices/platform/sony-laptop/bluetoothpower This turns off the bluetooth radio but the modules seem to stay loaded. I blacklisted them as I mentioned before so as to prevent the modules from loading into the kernel and so far I haven't seen the junk apppear into kern.log.
