Hi so I'm on a dell inspiron 1525 (one of the ones shipped by dell) so if this effects me tis bad news. With a fresh install of intrepid this bug is not present (hang on alsa shutdown and scratchy sound), however after updating today this bug has returned as bad as ever. What now? Joe
