Hey, few good news. The laptop did not had the same problem, which let me wonder if the sudo and their dependencies were really the same version, and they ware not.
After 2 minutes, and an apt-get clear, apt-get update, apt-get upgrade it updated several packages and it was then ok. I have never wondered so many packages could be releases under 48 hours from the time I have first deployed (downloaded from the br mirror), which let me afraid it was not really that well beta tested before release (or not well synced between mirrors). We may never know for sure now. Maybe it was due to fact that the very last release was a LTS, but I have been a user, (later server member and beta tester) since Warty (4.10) and earlier didn't used to get that out dated that quickly. At least the dev team really solves things quickly... Thanks for the help, I am pretty sure it will not affect anyone else. 2008/11/3 Fabio T.
