Alexander, you are proposing that every package management tool adds a special case to not install -gnome-support and ubufox when installing firefox and "on kde"?
I'm not sure exactly what features these provide, but I would tend to agree with ScottK. If a KDE user installs firefox without -gnome-support and ubufox, what do they miss out on?
