I just upgraded to 8.10 from 8.04 and I get the same error: [0.004000] Aperture beyond 4GB. Ignoring.
System will not boot. I have to reset and boot with kernel 2.6.24-21 generic. Help with this will be greatly appreciated! -- "Aperture beyond 4GB.
