I've attached gvfs-mount -li logs for before and after unmounting the device.
I do not have to open a file from the device to replicate the bug, just browse to the root directory of the device before unmounting. In my testing I have noticed that if I am not in the root directory of the device when I unmount, then the bug does not occur. I have also not been able to replicate this bug on my USB key, although I had previously replicated it many times on Hardy and assumed that it would still be there on Intrepid. So I can only confirm the bug on my Sansa Clip music player, which is also having issues being recognized by rhythmbox (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/291810). ** Attachment added: "gvfs-mount -li with Sansa Clip USB device mounted." http://launchpadlibrarian.net/19252119/gvfs-mount-li_before_unmounting.log -- tree view item does not disappear when i unmount a usb drive https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291833 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
