Lintian overrides are not supposed to be used this way. You should only override a Lintian message when the message is incorrect, but is not a bug in Lintian (i.e. your package is a special case of some kind which isn't worth encoding in Lintian). Overriding correct messages this way makes it harder to scan packages for problems.
