Pidgin suddenly crashed, I can't find the reason yet. I found this message in system log: kernel: [30159.979329] pidgin[22898]: segfault at 6d6f6e67 ip b7789661 sp bff50230 error 4 in libglib-2.0.so.0.1800.2[b7752000+b5000] I have a FRESH new installation of Ubuntu Desktop 8.10 32bit, done today. I have an Acer Aspire 5685WLMI, Core 2 Duo processor, Nvidia GeForce Go 7600SE with Nvidia proprietary drivers v177 and Compiz disabled, Pulse audio system in use. Pidgin is version 2.5.2.
