Hi Brian, upgrade to Intrepid? Unfortunately this cannot be the answer for Hardy LTS. The problem with swfdec or gnash according YouTube website is in my view not related to the plugin from Totem. e.g. swfdec version in official source is old, the new one, according to their website, is doing much better on this issues. I don't use gnash anymore since videos on YouTube don't work here since Hardy LTS (with Gutsy they did), therefore I've switched to swfdec. But the plugin in Totem worked until you brought up this issue and lead me to test it here.
