I have already described the problem in previous emails. Are you aware of the four little boxes at the bottom right of the screen, next to the trash can?
Move your mouse over the first one and it says "current workspace: desk 1". The next workspace says " current workspace: desk 2" and so on to desks 3 and 4. Click on the first desk and open a window, whatever you like, as normal. You can now move that window from "desk 1" to one of the other desks just by clicking and draging, from desk 1( click and drag in the little boxes) to the desk of your choice. That is how it is supposed to work. It did with the previous release of UBUNTU that I used. It does not work with this version that I have installed from what appears to be a bona-fide disk from the University of KZN. See my previous email for further info.
