Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092510 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.3 My Bank account is accessed via a local Java program (not a javascript). Its "Print" button tries to open a pop-up that show a stripped version of what I see on the screen. When I click "Print" button on the Java application screen I get: "FF prevented this site from opening 1 pop-up window" Then I click on "Preferences" button to allow pop-us for this site (file:///home/blablabla/index.html). After I do this, the option "Allow pop-ups for" shows just it. No site name, no nothing. If I try to use "Edit pop-up Blocker Preferences..." and stick "file:///home/..." in the "Address of web site field", FF strips all but the "home" word and also do not allow pop-ups for this local Java application. If I disable blocking pop-ups at large in FF's Edit->Preferences->Content, the application can open the pop-up.
