Could you trying running tuxpaint from the command line and see if you
get any output on the command line when you try and print?

I just tried to print here and I don't have a printer set up. I'm using
a later version admittedly and I got a message that it had printed, not
that it had saved.

If I looked on the command line I got the error:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/cvs/tuxpaint$ tuxpaint
lpr: Error - no default destination available.

Which tells me what happened. Do you get anything?
