i installed intrepid rc on my eeepc. i will now try to resolve all remaining issues so far, i can report that the speed of the sdhc is quite good (30MB/s with ext2) and that the webcam is working fine... however, it's true that compiz has to be turned off for the moving of windows to work correctly. furthermore, wifi doesn't work out of the box, and switching off hangs at the very end
