Same issue on a vanilla Intrepid upgrade and machine-generated xorg.conf (ati driver) on a Radeon 9800Pro. As such, this needs to be fixed for Intrepid. I'm not running some experimental/non-standard configuration, I am running the default configuration, and a card that was previously stable in 8.04 now hangs in Intrepid Beta with the "EQ overflowing" errors in Xorg.0.log.
