Sure I did and then got Empty.class, the byte code file. And then to get
from Empty.class to Empy I executed the above mentioned line and I still
get the warnings.

In all detail:

$ gcj -Os -freduced-reflection -Wall --enable-assertions -fsource=1.6 -C 
Empty.java
$ gcj -Os -freduced-reflection -Wall --enable-assertions -fsource=1.6 -o Empty 
--main=Empty Empty.class
cc1: warning: command line option "-freduced-reflection" is valid for Java but 
not for C
cc1: warning: command line option "-fenable-assertions" is valid for Java but 
not for C
