I think it could. The Dazuko modules modify your kernel to support on access file scanning. Unfortunately they are incompatible with the way Ubuntu builds its kernel.
I looked into trying to get Dazuko into the Ubuntu kernel a few months ago and concluded it would be very difficult to get them to work correctly. There is likely a related problem. In Ubuntu we use Apparmor to increase security by enforcing process separation. Since clamdrib is not part of the official Ubuntu package repository, we didn't know to consider it in developing the Apparmor profile for clamav (I have another clamav bug I'm working that points to this). I'll work on that and I suggest you use the Launchpad ask a question function to get help on removing Dazuko. -- clamd crashed with SIGSEGV in tcpserver() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/288931 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
