OOOH I THINK I FOUND A PROVISIONAL SOLUTION! It seems that using the "linux-backports-modules-'versionname'" does the trick, and uses a more recent rt73usb/rt2x00 driver set/library which doesn't have the issues anymore!!!!!! so said serialmonkey as well, that it could use a more recent driver set with that module.. what do you think??
