Welcome on the board, StuTheBearded. It seems like our motherboard is something very unlucky in terms of Linux :) I tried to install:
Ubuntu (both 32 and 64 bit) - failed with kernel panic Debian (both 32 and 64 bit) - failed to recognize sata cdrom Gentoo (both) - failed at early installation Mandriva - also failed with weird error The only one distribution with was okay for me is - Fedora. But I have no sound and network card recognized.
