Same things here in italy.

I've found the problem: the router assign a reserved address via dhcp to the 
eth0 interfaces.
When you do pon dsl-provider, the pppd logic write a correct /etc/resolv.conf 
file, but after some little amount of time (the lease time of the dhcp server 
of the router) the reserved address are refreshed, and resolv.conf rewritten.

Solutions? None so good, if you can set the dhcp server of the router to
assign correct dns servers, or assign static IP adress to your PC.

I think that dhcp/pppd have to interact better, indeed... so i think
that this is still a bug.
