I'm connecting to my school WiFi network and encounter the same problem with intrepid up-to-date as of today. The WiFi network is actually composed of two networks, one is WPA Entreprise and the other WPA2 Entreprise. Both are using MSCHAP v2 and PEAP authentication, and I don't need to specify a CA certificate, only login and password.
Sometimes, the connection to the WiFi network will only lasts a few seconds, then I won't be able to connect during minutes. Here is the output of dmesg after an attempt has failed : [ 2776.852101] wlan0: deauthenticated [ 2777.849277] wlan0: authenticate with AP 00:12:cf:54:7b:60 [ 2777.851214] wlan0: authenticated [ 2777.851229] wlan0: associate with AP 00:12:cf:54:7b:60 [ 2777.854944] wlan0: RX ReassocResp from 00:12:cf:54:7b:60 (capab=0x31 status=0 aid=4) [ 2777.854957] wlan0: associated [ 2778.587209] wlan0: disassociating by local choice (reason=3) -- [Intrepid] iwl3945 + iwl4965 -- network-manager will not connect to a WPA EAP (Enterprise) network (disassociating by local choice (reason=3) ) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272185 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
