But I don't understand why you are talking about v4l1compat.so for
Cheese, it's a v4l2 application !

Before the patches, I was using :
$ LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so camorama 
$ LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l2convert.so cheese
