Same issue there. Actually my /etc/resolv.conf often gets cleared by networkmanager at reboot. However I don't know what triggers the issue.
I have two network interfaces, my mainboard is an Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe. One network interface is desactivated, and the network manager always clears the /etc/resolv.conf file. The issue is fairly critical for novice users who won't be able to go to the internet because of this issue. The only WA consists in rewriting manually the /etc/resolv.conf file every time it gets cleared. -- NetworkManager messes up DNS and wired network options https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/279867 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
