K/Ubuntu is known to have defaults that help the general user. The rational in asking for this change is twofold:
1. Users want to have a smooth workflow - not having this this adds more clicks and annoyance to the workflow 2. Users may not be aware of free formats or good formats to use for this type of pictures - the appeal of Kubuntu is that defaults are good, but the choice is there.
