Public bug reported:

I have a two-monitor setup in Hardy Kubuntu (KDE 3 version). First
monitor has a resolution of 1280x1024. Second monitor has a resolution
of 1680x1050. Everything used to work great. After downloaded some
recent Hardy updates (I think kernel update and KDE updates were
included) I started having an issue where windows on the second larger
monitor would not fill the screen when maximized. They seem to stop at
the resolution of the first monitor.

I tried installing official nvidia drivers, which did nothing to fix the
problem. Hardware config and xdpyinfo output are attached. All compiz
"Desktop effects" are disabled.
