Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kipi-plugins

When trying to upload pictures to Flickr from digiKam, I get the following
error message:
"Could not launch the browser: Could not find service 'kfmclient'."
As signalled in bug #52424, the Flickr export feature of Kipi-plugins requires
Konqueror to be installed. However, digiKam 0.9.4 is a KDE3 application and as
such it tries to load the KDE3 version of Konqueror, which is not shipped in
Kubuntu 8.10. Adding the KDE3 version of Konqueror should solve the problem.

Ubuntu release: Kubuntu Intrepid 8.10 beta (All packages up-to-date)
Packages versions: digikam-0.9.4-1ubuntu1, kipi-plugins-0.1.5-1ubuntu2
Expected to happen: Konqueror is loaded to let the user log into Flickr.
Happened instead: Konqueror is not loaded.

By the way, why did you remove the digiKam KDE4 package from the
repositories? digiKam 0.10.0-beta4 and Kipi-plugins 0.2.0-beta2 for KDE4
provide a long list of features now and might be the preferred choice
for those (like me) who want a system entirely based on KDE4
applications.

Best regards.
