This is the code of my backported tc1100-wmi module (it comes form a vanilla 2.6.27). Many thanks to Carlos and his kindness, because he explained me the easy way to achieve this result. I haven't already setup a package into my ppa. Sorry, I promise that in the near future this will be done. For now compile it.
