Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kde-systemsettings
Steps to reproduce: open K menu > System Settings > Monitor > Energy set Turn off monitor after to say, 1 minute (any setting will do) click Apply # it will now work for this section Turn off computer ( maybe only logout will do) Turn on :) open K menu > System Settings > Monitor > Energy see the setting changed to 1 hour (or 60 times whatever you had set) The ~/.kde/share/config/displayconfigrc is set correctly and does not get changed. The displayconfig-restore script works correctly at the very startup of the kde section. By the end of the startup process, something I was not able to determine what, changes the xserver setting to 60 times what it was. ** Affects: kde-systemsettings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- DPMS monitor off timeout gets multiplied by 60 https://launchpad.net/bugs/71697 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
