I've live-booted Ubuntu 8.10 64-bit Beta which works OK. However, the update itself was not OK: only a partial update was possible, and even that partial update went wrong. The update-GUI said I had to run "sudo dpkg --configure -a" because of the errors, but that was not possible:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo dpkg --configure -a dpkg: failed to write status record about `libgpod-common' to `/var/lib/dpkg/status': No space left on device [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~ "No space left on device"? Isn't that strange, as I think there's space enough: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ df -BM Filesystem 1M-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on tmpfs 1917M 3M 1915M 1% /lib/modules/2.6.27-4-generic/volatile tmpfs 1917M 3M 1915M 1% /lib/modules/2.6.27-4-generic/volatile tmpfs 1917M 0M 1917M 0% /lib/init/rw varrun 1917M 1M 1917M 1% /var/run varlock 1917M 0M 1917M 0% /var/lock udev 1917M 1M 1917M 1% /dev tmpfs 1917M 1M 1917M 1% /dev/shm rootfs 1917M 1917M 0M 100% / /dev/scd0 698M 698M 0M 100% /cdrom /dev/loop0 676M 676M 0M 100% /rofs tmpfs 1917M 1M 1917M 1% /tmp [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ I think activating flgrx in this state is not possible at all, or not useful.
