** Description changed: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati - Mode 1920x1080 was supported on Hardy using fglrx; now I upgraded to - intrepid and I'm only offered mode 1920x540 (half of the required 1080) + Mode 1920x1080 works using fglrx (both on Hardy and Intrepid); ati + driver only supports 1920x540 (half of the required 1080) The display is a LCD TV Sony KDL-46VL130, the remaining stuff is in the attachments.
