Onkar, I installed *only* the gstreamer-plugins-bad from your ppa (wasn't sure if i was supposed to do base or sdl, so I only installed the plugins-bad deb).
Using stock intrepid totem, dvd playback works "ok" for me, on a few titles I've tested it on. What works: - Seeking forward, sometimes. Seems to work better on short chapters (< 1 min). Doesn't always seek to the position I set it to, it will often jump back the a point between the current time and the desired time.
