Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: adept-notifier

I've just freshly installed from the Kubuntu Intrepid Ibex beta release.

It is noticeable that the system tray contains a couple of message about
English language support not being fully installed. First of all, I
don't know why it's alerting me to that. There are very many packages
not installed by default from the CD, and language support is definitely
not the most urgent one to install. There are also messages alerting me
to other packages that can be updated.

The really annoying thing is that as the minutes go by, and I configure
the system to my liking, more and more of these messages come up. They
sit in the system tray in the form of hot-air balloons (or perhaps they
are supposed to be light bulbs). Right now, as I type, there are eight
hot-air balloons and a gearwheel.

The same thing happened recently when I installed the 64-bit version. I
ended up just removing the Adept updater completely.

** Affects: adept (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
