Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati
Mode 1920x1080 was supported on Hardy using fglrx; now I upgraded to intrepid and I'm only offered mode 1920x540 (half of the required 1080) The display is a LCD TV Sony KDL-46VL130, the remaining stuff is in the attachments. The behaviour seems to be the same with the radeonhd driver. xserver-xorg-video-ati version 1:6.9.0+git20081003.f9826a56-0ubuntu2 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.10 Package: xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:6.9.0+git20081003.f9826a56-0ubuntu2 ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_US.UTF-8 ProcVersion: Linux version 2.6.27-7-generic ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 4.3.2 (Ubuntu 4.3.2-1ubuntu10) ) #1 SMP Fri Oct 10 03:55:01 UTC 2008 SourcePackage: xserver-xorg-video-ati Uname: Linux 2.6.27-7-generic x86_64 xkbcomp: ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- the ati (radeon?) driver does not allow mode 1920x1080 on my HW https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/283305 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
