Using an Advent 4211 Netbook (MSI Wind clone) I installed Ubuntu 8.04.1 and then upgraded to Intrepid Alpha 6. Since then I have been following the updates most days. For the last 36 hours (after seeing a Pulse update go past, I think) I only get a crackling sound whenever any sound is played.
