You can close this bug, since it didn't happened again since the switches to hardy and intrepid i think it was a rare event and might be closely tight to my own hardware.
i am not a software engineer but i guess it was a driver problem. But this is only speculation. IF it happens again i will reassign a new bug report. Thanks for your attention.
