Hi Ok i installed with synaptic primaxscan.
XSane dont see PRIMAX Colorado 1200p. In terminal i write: sudo primaxscan -l o This Port does not support the EPP-Mode Please activate EPP-Mode or ECP-Mode with included EPP-mode! The activated and detected Modis are: SPP-Port present PS2-Port present ECP-Port present Ok so i changed in BIOS to ECP + EPP sudo primaxscan -l o Failed Intel bug check. (Phony EPP in ECP) This Port does not support the EPP-Mode Please activate EPP-Mode or ECP-Mode with included EPP-mode! The activated and detected Modis are: SPP-Port present PS2-Port present ECP-Port present Ok so i changed in BIOS to EPP sudo primaxscan -l o :-( Scanner did not switch to EPP mode.....not compatible? In Windows XP it works. My motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-P31-DS3L. Ubuntu 8.04. Somebody got such problem, know solution or could help.
