As noted in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/243738, this can be fixed with
apt-get install linux-restricted-modules-common However, I think it's a but that a hardy->intrepid upgrade doesn't do this automatically. (So the user experience of the upgrade is just "help! Where'd my wireless go?") ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Confirmed -- iwl3945 wifi card not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/278552 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
