Public bug reported:

I was on edUbuntu 7.10 for 386 systems
It worked perfectly until i made an update to hardy heron (8.04) , after
restart it freezes for a long time while loading than it says that it can't
find the disc
I made it run with the kernel 2.6.22 it run okay
But it freezes when i load with kernel 2.6.24-19
on the console it freezes on something related to SCSI drives , setting them to
sda and sdg as i understood (i'm not pro)

My hardware :
Intel core2 Duo E4500
1GB DDR2 Ram
320GB Hard disk drive
Ati Radeon Xpress 1250

Software :
edUbuntu Gutsy upgraded to edUbuntu Hardy (386)
linux kernel 2.6.24-19 generic (the synaptic says it is for x86_64)
linux kernel 2.6.22 (working greatfully)

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
