It has caused untold nightmares for newbies of which I've had to fix. I am trying to promote the virtues of KDE but when this feature (Strgi) is enabled by default reporting "out of disk space" errors is not endering newbies to Linux at all. It even took me off guard when I first came across this error.
Strigi off by default please, it will help lower calls to me of "what is going on, my hard drive is so full I can't boot into KDE!" -- strigi uses up more than 25GB of space https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/227280 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
