I'm one of the main developers of this driver. This driver has been submitted upstream and will most likely end up in 2.6.28 meaning that Jaunty will contain it.
One possible issue is that this usb bridge connects to multiple sensors and that 5 sensors are currently supported but we know of at least one more.
