Hello together,
i installed kubuntu 8.10 with the newest stable nvidia driver.
when i start blender or one of the opengl screensaver "stand alone"
everything works fine. But after i start Firefox or Thunderbird, Blender
and every OpenGL Screensaver is _very_ slow. It seems to be a Problem of
GTK Applications, but i cant define it exactly. If i close FF and
restart Blender it works fine again. However, if i start Kopete or
another KDE 4 application everything works fine, too.
I tried to remove my .kde folder and start with a "new" configuration,
but the problem still persists.
Any ideas how i can debug this problem?
